Today Jan. 10 in Yeshiva ('till 4:30pm)

*Last Night after the Boxing Matches in Simcha Bloom's room (see separate article later on today) Gav came in to Sholom Ber's room and tried holding a can of soda but was shaking away, couldn't hold it straight as a result of "Muscle Spasms" which occur after too much boxing... It was pretty funny to watch. As of today morning, he is fine.

* This morning a big group of Bochurim did not wake up for Chassidus so Rabbi Berger sent the Mashgiach to wake them up. He easily woke up the Goldfish and other people, but when he reached Boruch Tauber's Apartment it was a disaster, Michael & Hudy didn't wake up, Simcha, Yankee & Shmuel Kalatchy didn't wake up either. After some tries, he managed to get Yankee & Shmuel up but wasn't able to get Simcha to leave his bed (he claimed he was sick with back-aches, no wonder, considering the boxing matches he participated in), so he begun by taking off his blanket, this didn't help, so he proceeded to think of a better solution, and grabbed the mattress from under him, leaving him sleeping on the metal net which holds the mattress. Simcha claimed it was comfortable, but nevertheless woke up some minutes later and went to Zal... Hudy & Michael needed a reminder from Rabbi Smith but they woke up too...

* Today was the first day of the "Separatist Minyan", the special program for the special children who need special care during Davenning, as they are incapable of Davenning themselves without help and nudging. The program started today with Itzik Eilenberg, The Goldfein Twins, Yossi Morgenstien & Avremi Mishulovin who sat with Rabbi Smith outside of Zal and Farbrenged about the importance of Davenning. Sruli Weiss requested to be transfered to the "Special Minyan", and even made an attempt at joining it. Itzik Eilenberg welcomed him saying: "Come join us. We need someone normal here...". The Minyan wss dubbed by the Bochurim as the "YAM Junior Congregation" or "Ottawa Chabad House Minyan".

* During Seder Nigleh today Rafi Morgenstien went into a spaz attack and went to sleep in one of the Coat Cubbies, refusing to talk to anybody or anyone...

* Right before Mincha, Eilenberg started a fight with Yosl Cylich and was running after him thru Zal in front of Rabbi Berger. Tubby didn't realize Rabbi Berger was standing and he ran around knocking into the Shtender where the Rabbi was standing, the Rabbi rebuked him softly, but from the expression on the Rabbi's face we could say that he wanted to kill him...

* In honor of the fast Yeshiva showed the famous movie "Exodus" (1960) after Mincha.
