This article will specify a bunch of small tidbits of news which occurred last week, which we forgot to mention in the mainline articles:
Wednesday Jan. 11
During Chassidus night Yankele Lefton was showing his camera around and Sholom Ber took it away and put it next to him. Yankele wasn’t worried anything will happen as he knows Sholom Ber is responsible... But the dumbest of the whole class, Chaim Kaufmann decided he must save Yankele’s camera and outstretched his hand in the direction of the camera. What Chaim didn’t know is that Sholom Ber has very quick reflexes, and in the moment his hand was a mere two inches away from the camera Sholom Ber whacked his hand and left a bruise...
Thursday Jan. 12
* As the time for Afternoon Seder neared it was obvious that Yankele Lefton wasn’t going to make it to Seder on time, for he was sound asleep on Ari Eagle’s bed. Sholom Ber decided to wake him up in an original way, he took a Hockey Stick and started poking his nuts. Yankele didn’t budge. After a few tries in various parts of his body he concluded that Yankele is in a deep slumber. At that moment Michael walks in and was startled to see his Chavrusa Chropping in bed, so he decided that the time has come to teach the man a lesson. He took the Hockey stick and started poking with a lot of strength until Yankele finally let out a cry “Ehhhh”, and rolled back to sleep. A few more tries didn’t help much and finally Michael gave up just as Rabbi Smith was walking into the room and seeing the suffering being inflicted on the poor inmates by the Night Warden. Rabbi Smith immediately proceeded to wake him up and was stunned to see what was written on Yankele’s face. Yankele had some words of Nivul Peh written all over his forehead. When asked about it, he replied “It is a work of art from Avi Mogo”. He then rolled out of bed and into the street.
* Rabbi Smith was kind enough to give the Zal guys a ride to Zal for the afternoon, and some dude named Wrubell decided to join in the car (and in the fun). Once everyone arrived at Zal, Michoel decided to pick a fight with Avi Wrubell, by throwing a Snowball on him. Wrubell promptly replied with a barrage of Snowballs in the direction of everyone and anyone, barely missing some Alte Bubby who decided to make the mistake and walk past Young Israel. The situation quickly deteriorated into a wild scene which ended after a few minutes with Wrubell being bombarded with Snowballs and giving up...
