Eilenberg gets the SHIL knocked out of him...

This afternoon while Sholom Ber was learning with Michoel & Vince, Itzik Eilenberg suddenly walked into Zal and asked for a $10 dollar loan from anyone. When he was asked what he needed it for, he said he wants to go shopping to "Wal-Mart" and he wants to buy something.

When he was asked what he wanted to buy, Itzik refused to answer claiming that there is nothing wrong with it but he is shy. This answer alerted Sholom Ber and he started investigating what exactly Itzik wanted to buy, but Itzik refused to answer. He only answered that he also has to return a light-bulb he bought there yesterday.

Vince then offered Itzik $20 if he tells him what he wants to buy, but Itzik refused.

When Sholom Ber asked him if he had permission to go to "Wal-Mart" yesterday, Itzik responded that he got permission from Rabbi Smith, later he changed his version and claimed that Rabbi Berger gave him permission. Sholom Ber called both Rabbis and both denied ever giving permission to Itzik.

Sholom Ber then got angry at Itzik for lying and grabbed him by his shirt, then pushed him against the new walls which separate Zal and proceeded to investigate him. Itzik was stubborn and didn't budge. Sholom Ber then realized that the wall might fall over if he pushes him harder so instead he knocked him to the floor and started putting pressure on him to talk, but Itzik didn't budge. Instead, he continued in his steadfast refusal to hear anything. Since it didn't work, Sholom Ber left the room with Itzik and asked him privately, to which Itzik answered...

Sholom Ber commented to this episode: "I still cannot understand why he is shy with what he wants to buy. There is nothing wrong with it".
