Cops Raid Yeshiva Neighbors & Cars

The PoPo car after Tiffy took care of it...

It's 2:08am now, Tuesday night, and I suddenly see three police cars pull up by the building next door to Yeshiva, and the cops exit the car and enter the building. The cops came to Kirkwood & Carling and for a change, they didn't come for us...

It all started at 9:30pm when two girls were standing under Sholom Ber's window and talking about getting some weed from some guy who passed by, after some time, Yankee Kopfstien who was at Sholom Ber's room instigated the girls and they almost threw snowballs at SB's window.

At 10:00pm we saw the first sign of increased Police activity on our block, when a car was pulled over across the street for speeding, the cop went out of the patrol car and gave the poor driver a ticket.

15 minutes later another car was pulled over on our side of the street and weirdly enough, the cop didn't go to the car, but the driver who was pulled over went over to the police car and gave his info... In NY the driver would've shot the stupid cop. A few minuted later the cop went out of the car and checked the trunk and license plate of the car, he then gave him a ticket.

The main story starts at 2:05am tonight, when suddenly Tiffy hears a lady scream from the adjacent building and moments later one cop car pulls over, the officer turns to Tiffy and looks at him, Tiffy told him: "Don't worry, this time it's not us...". The cop smiled.

Then a 2nd. cop car pulls in and they all walk in together into the building. Tiffy then saw the lights in Richard's apartment go on. The speculation is that a drug bust was going on. Seconds after the 2nd. cop car pulls in a 3rd. one pulls in with sirens blaring (as opposed to the first two which came quietly), and wakes up Chaim Kaufmann...

After 10 minutes inside, the dudes from the 2nd. cop car walk towards the trunk and one says to another: "I sure hope they won't shoot us or some Sh--". Then they screeched out of the driveway.

Throughout this whole "episode" Tiffy was standing outside in the cold weather wearing only his pajama pants and an Undershirt & Tzitzis...

Two hours later, at 4:30am two of the three cop cars returned to see what's flying, but they left shortly thereafter.

With this ends another boring night in the Yeshiva of Ottawa, but a busy nights for the bored cops of Ottawa...

UPDATE: This morning, Wednesday, we realized that the glass on the back door of the building were shattered, which leads us to believe that it was an armed robbery...
