Ottawa is safe again! (Gershon leaves to NY)

Gershon & the greatest (legal) fire he ever made in Ottawa

On Monday night, the Yeshiva of Ottawa shook to the core, after the famed pyromaniac Gershon Selinger returned to Yeshiva for a short visit (see here), the fire-department was alerted to be on constant call for 812 Kirkwood Ave. for it may be any day a fire may break out and burn the city (Gersh has done it in the past, burning down close to 100.000 square feet of hay field in Ukraine). Or as one of the commentators commented upon seeing the dorm is still up: "hey... its good to see the dorm still standing - with gershon back in town!!!".

Tonight, after the Farbrengen Gershon joined the group that is to arrive in NY before Shabbos (Benny Hershcovich's / Berel Zaklikovsky's car) and left to NY leaving the Yeshiva behind in one piece without any (visible) burn marks. We thought it was important to notify the public of these great news, which render us safe.

The drivers that travelled in the car to NY tonight were:
1) Gershon Selinger - Ex-Driver.
2) Berel Zaklikovsky - Driver.
3) Benny Hershcovich - Attempted Driver.
4) Yaakov Lefton - Potential Driver.
5) Meir Lieblich - Illegal Driver / Car-Jacker.
6) Chaim Kaufmann - Back-Seat Driver.
7) Shmuli Lazaroff - Assistant to Driver (i.e. MapQuest)
