NEWS FLASH: Birthday Farbrengen for Yossi Agulnick & Avi Mogilevsky... Surprise gift for Avi...
Tonight, the 13th of Kislev, Lubavitchers worldwide celebrate the holiday of "Yud Gimmel Kislev", a special day for every Lubavitcher, as this is the day the American Supreme Court recgonized the Rebbe as the leader of the Jewish nation, who must not come and testify in court like a regular man. Since 1985 this day has been celebrated worldwide with drinking and partying, a Chassidishe Farbrengen.
Rabbi Berger Farbrenging
In Ottawa this day simbolizes the double birthdays of our students, Yossi Agulnick & Avi Mogilevsky. They sponsored a Farbrengen, with Yossi buying 2 bottles of Mashke, against Rabbi Berger's explicit wishes, and Avi scamming one of Yeshiva...
Boruch Tauber Farbrenging
To Avi this was more than just a Farbrengen, two of his brothers drove in from Toronto to visit him in his hell-hole, and he was very happy to see them, a surprise visit. One of them is Rafi Mogilevsky who has studied in our Yeshiva two years ago... Welcome Back!
The Three Brothers
The Farbrengen was attended by Rabbi Berger, Schneur, Dovi, Berel & More staff members who kept the crowd informed about the special day.
Listening in to Rabbi Berger
The highlight of the Farbrengen was the Leib-Levi Hachlata: Leib Morris will stop shaving his beard (which he has done in the past in Yeshiva), and Levi Vogel will stop smoking. Once one quits his Hachlata the other is no longer obligated to keep it. Levi gave his cigarettes to SB to safekeep, and Levi took by force Leib's shaver which he found hiding in Leib's room... (Now you know why we need dorm busts?).
Because of the excess of Mashke, Sruli Weiss got plastered, and started blabbering away at everybody, it could be seen on the videos...
